Workplace first aid requirements
In Côte d'Ivoire, workplace first aid is governed by Labour Code (Law No. 2015-532 of 20 July 2015), in particular article 41.3 on occupational hygiene and safety, administered by Labour Inspectorate (Ministry of Employment and Social Protection) and the CNPS Directorate for Prevention and Protection of Occupational Health and Safety (DPPSST). Employers must ensure a trained first aider is available at all times.
